JD 110 TLB equivalent?

I bought a JD 110 TLB new off the dealer lot about 15 years ago. It's been a good machine- just the right size for my business. I figure I can still get a couple + more years out of it, but I'd like to budget a replacement.

Is there anyone other than Kubota with their L47 that makes a dedicated construction grade compact TLB?

Thanks for the info, Jeff. But the B26 is too small. I had a B24? I think it was, that I traded on the 110TLB. The little Kubota ran well, just didn't have enough weight to dig well. And a short stick.

The M62 would be a 14ft hoe and 62hp, much larger than the 110.

JCB makes some smaller units that might fit your needs. The 3CX Compact Backhoe Loader might be the right size.

Why not the Kubota L47?

I am the second owner of a 2006 Kubota L48 with 253 hours.
It is a wonderful machine (11' reach), and is my personal toy.
It will not be sold until after I croak (almost 80).

Like your JD 110, the L47 is a 10' reach hoe, and about the same size/weight as the JD110.
Seems to me like a nearly perfect replacement for your JD.

I have nothing against the L47- I'm sure it's a fantastic machine. But right now I have time to research options, and wanted to make sure there is nothing similar to the 110 and L47 that I'm missing.

The 110 was a dud. There is a yanmar that is maybe a little smaller. jcb makes a couple but they are heavy compared to the 110. M59 and m62 are really in a league of their own and I wish case and Deere would jump in that market but there isnt enough call for that size machine on job sites. Having a plumbing biz and going from a case 580 I was happy with the m59. have had the m62 for 4 years, but just now got into the mini excavators. The main reason for my hold out and staying with a backhoe was because of the need to handle gravel. A dedicated gravel bucket and quick attach makes the mini X superior. Plus I got tired of waiting for a factory cab from Kubota.

When I was a plumbing contractor this was a good size for pulling behind a service truck. One trip with pipe, tools and backhoe to dig, lay pipe and cover up.

Well, as plumbing contractor the 110 was way too small. M59 was ok, the m62 was great....except no factory cab. So I moved on.
