John Deere 1520 Diesel
Have a JD 1520 diesel that has an early style(obsolete)Roosa Master injection pump. It has a steady leak when engine running at supply banjo fitting on bottom of pump. Have replaced the hollow screw and two washers. Still leaks. Not spewing, but a steady drip. Banjo fitting does not appear to be cracked. Have tightened down as much as possible with no luck. Anyone have a suggestion or is it just a trashed inj pump. Thanks

Replace the 2 steel washers with copper washers , the copper being softer conforms to the irregularitys better than steel.

Thanks Partspring. I just happen to work for a Ford dealer and we are also a Cummins dealer. We had copper washers in Cummins just the right size. I'm gonna try the out this weekend. Thanks for the tip. Great support and good people here.
