Mowing JD 2210 mower deck control knob won't turn

Any common problems 52 in deck has been working fine for 120 hours and turn to 6 inch high and now won't turn to lower deck. Not hit nothing,pulled 4 ft disc in garden and now time to mow, any ideas, owner manual not much help,

Make sure you have operated the control to raise the mower deck fully before trying to turn the height adjustment crank. If that doesn't help you may find more assistance on the JD-specific forum.
