Might be able to help. Will need a bit more information.
Some confusion with the wording.

Do you have an adjusment knob for speed of 3 ph arms?

Yes, but It just control the speed to lower the arms. It works very well. The issue is to raise the arms.
Thanks for replying.

Check the linkage on the lever. If I remember mine the lever turned a rod that hooked to another tab to actually turn the stub end of the rod coming out of the cover under the seat. Mine froze up and slipped on the rod once.

thank you. i will try.
I have opened the rockshaft housing multiple times and check everything inside.
I have followed all recomendations on the jd technical manual on how to adjust control level, etc . But it is still slow when raises.

Maybe it is time to check some hyd. pressure and flow. Might be some blockage somewhere.

As stated rate of drop screw has ZERO to do with the raising of 3pt only speed of lowering. Problem could be stuck/faulty pressure control valve limiting pressure & flow to rockshaft. Does tractor have a loader? If so does it have an ind control valve or operated off SCV's? Have you ever checked stand-by psi? It should be 2250 #'s.

Jim,
The tractor has a loader and works really well. Strong and fast.
My tractor has flow control valve. It does not have a svc. The loader takes the hydraulic fluid from it. I have never check the pressure. I will do it.
As you can see, i am new on this, but i can figure out some things.I will check the flow control valve to see if i have some junk inside.
Thanks.

If loader operates quickly flow control valve isn't the problem since loader supply is attached to flow control valve.. Disconnect and cap where the return line from loader valve attaches to tractor. With both loader control levers in neutral, start engine with open return hose aimed in hyd filler hole. If oil spurts out of hose then the loader control valve is your tractors problem. Some hyd control valves have an internal quad ring that can blow caused valve to revert to the open center type.
