- John Deere 112, John Deere 3010D
Hello, I have a newly acquired John Deere 3010 Diesel (24volt). Right away I had the generator repaired. I fired up the tractor for the first time. Come to find out I was supposed to set the polarity on the voltage regulator. As a result of not doing it, I fried the wire that runs from the battery terminal on the regulator, to the key switch, to the solenoid. I also fried the starter, regulator, and generator. I replaced everything I fried. Now, nothing happens when I turn the key. I also don't get power to the lights at all. The batteries are good. Also I have 24 volts at the starter, the key and the regulator. All of the wiring connections appear good. I don't see any fuses that may have blown. What do I do now? Any help would be very much appreciated.
