Found a nice JD 40-U that I plan on buying. Anyone know if it will fit on a Uhaul car hauler trailer? They can handle up to 5900 pounds so weight is not an issue, just wondering if the deck is to wide for the tractor. Anyone done this before?

I hauled a MF 135 with one of these and it worked out great, I believe the 40 is a slightly smaller tractor though.

Depends on if the wheels are "set in" (narrow position). If the rears haven't been adjusted for a while, they may be hard to break loose! ~~ Lowell
