JD 4000TEN Owners!!

I have just about decided to order a JD 4310 or 4410 (vs a Kubota 3010) and I would really like to hear from any owners out there. I would like to know how they like them, any problems, would they do it again etc. I just need a warm cozy feeling before I make the deal.

Of course, any negatives would also be appreciated.

Who ever you puchase from make sure they have a good service department........You will more than likely need some work done on it sometime.

Not many of us have received the tractors yet. My 4310 is on the way after a GREAT deal of research. Few Kubota dealers in my area, but the L3010 is a great machine, as well. I think the warm fuzzys are on the way, but you may have to take the plunge on these new machines without a great deal of owner comment -- until next fall, anyway. Good luck. If it helps, I feel warm and fuzzy with my decision!

If you order a JD 4310 or 4410, make sure your dealer gives you that rebate that big JD is offering now...up to $1,200. Don't accept feigned ignorance from your dealer if they claim they don't know what you're talking about. The rebate offer is on JD's website for the whole world to see.

I received my 4210 about two weeks ago, and love it/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. Still can't get that silly grin of my face. Unfornately I have not enough seat time (between the rain and the overtime). I have only mowed with it. No problems so far. The FEL will get a work out soon with new gravel for the driveway.

I would do it again!! But it's already been said, your dealer/salesman has to be top notch.

New member with new tractor, so take it for what it's worth.

I was like you and looked at alot of tractors before ordering a 4410 last Monday. We have always had good luck with JD and I liked they controls/options better than the others. With the rebate the 4410 is now about the cost of what the 4310 was selling for two weeks ago. I would be pleased with any of the tractors this size but the Deere is the best fit for me.
Build date 5/15 dealer says it should be here by the 20th sounds like the over size R4s are slowing down the build date

IF all goes well I'm picking up my 4310 w/430 FEL, 48 BH, and other "goodies" this Friday (26th)... I'll let you know how everything goes! (two more sleepless nights /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif )

I have arranged with Mark to "go over the tractor" at the dealership... then deliver the tractor to my camp! (I figure this is the best scinerio to avoid any mis.. conceptions/understandings (not that it think it will be a problem with Mark i.e. KC Canary)
I will be enjoying my new Tractor Friday through Monday so expect not to hear from me before Tuesday. Because of all of the help/advise I have received from TBN members (and unregistered Members) I will certainly make it a point to keep everybody up to date on my experience's!

I picked up my 4310 last weekend and because of the weather was only able to put about 8 hours on it. So far it has more than lived up to my expectations. Used both the BH and the FEL (with 4 in 1 bucket) and was very impressed with both. I started shopping last year... looked at all of the "Big 3" compared features, ergonomics, and landed on the JD w/e-hydro. (see my posts and pics under "took delivery of 4310)... almost bought a 4300 last year but decided to wait... glad I did... actually got the 4310 w/identical equip for less.
