JD 4030 Fan Belt Replacement

Hi Tx Jim I recently bought a john deere 4030. The ac compressor is up there on top of valve cover but compressor is froze and no belt. what drives the ac compressor my water pump and alternator only has one groove on the pulley for one belt. The ac compressor sits further back one belt width.

There are two different designs, according to jdparts.. above s/n 007172 is the later..

and you can look up parts and part numbers.

The alternator shows a two belt pulley as well as a single. Might be someone switched back to one, and de-commissioned the AC

Since both serial number breaks utilize belts that are close to same lengths(70'' vs 67.72'') IIRC the belt goes from crankshaft pulley to compressor.
