JD 4044M - ECU 000412.03 Error - TAKE STRAIGHT TO REPAIR SHOP

Hi all, I've had this 4044M for 4 years now, this is the first time I've got an error code, ECU 000412.03 and will not go away. The info I've found says to take it in for repair. All the research I've done isn't landing me any info on how to troubleshoot this myself. Do any of you have any tips on where to get a clue on what is causing this ECU error code?

Do you have a factory service manual for your tractor?

I don't think you are going to get very far without one.

The ECU 000412.03 code is: EGR Temperature Sensor Input Voltage Problem. Have your John Deere dealer repair as soon as possible.

You may want to open the hood and maybe check for wiring damage, preferably around the EGR area, just to do some initial troubleshooting.

I have a John Deere 4044R with a ECU A 412.03 Problem. Trying to figure out what's causing it.

Could be the EGR temp sensor or it could be a bad EGR cooler. My EGR cooler had to be replaced on my 5 series.
