Welcome to the board Lisa,

It depends on the condition and the location. More on location than you'd think.

If it's garage kept, 54 hours is barely broken in -- almost new. If it's less than 16K, it's a steal. If it's more the 21K it's overpriced.

Even if you figure 14K for the tractor and FEL and 1K for each of the implements, you're at 17 and if those implements are as new as the tractor, then the allowance should be more than that maybe.

One way to look at it is to go to the Deere site (www.deere.com) build a tractor like it (use the 2520 if the 4110 is not available to build anymore) and add the implements and see what it lists at new. Take 12% off that for an average discount off list (more in some areas, less in others). This is what this 4110 is competing against. If you figure that a new warenty is worth something, then I'd take a wild stab at about 17-18K for this one. That's really wild since I have little information to go on.

Thanks Cliff!
Yes it is garage kept. By location what do you mean? Geographical? If so the location is Syracuse NY. Does this make a difference in pricing?

From what I understand on this board, New England has higher prices in general. Someone from you area may chime in with more info.

By the way, the price would also depend on who had it for sale. If it's a dealer it's a bit more and if its from a private party maybe a bit less.

Also, the price is higher if you're trying to buy one and lower if you're trying to sell one. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When I was looking for a used machine, Northern John Deere in Fulton NY said they've only gotten a compact tractor traded in a couple of times so they don't have them to offer. I found mine on the internet, but would have been happy to find something that was closer to home. You can try the Swapsheet, very popular in the Syracuse area or maybe a dealer would be willing to sell it for you on consignment. Good luck.

Cliff; I think your a little lite on the attachments for a grand a piece. A new blower..... about 3500 with attaching parts, a 60" mmm lists for 2600 with attachment kit, loader and weight box 3200 and the list goes on. I would say if you knocked off a grand off each attachment you would be real close to their sale price. I bet they would pass for new condition with the low hours on the machine. Someone will get one smok'n deal on this package if it goes for less. Dealers in my area never get in any used compacts. Friends and neighbors hear about the trade before it happens and they end up driving it home. A dealer just called me yesterday with a used 410 loader they took in with 2 buckets. They want 2000. for it with 1 bucket ( choice ) and it must be an older one cause the paint is beat up. Normally they won't split up a package.
