Kubota B7510
I stopped in at the local JD dealer last night to ask about the 4110 to get their spin on comparing it to a similar size Kubota. The salesman quoted me $20,000 for a 4110 with a backhoe, apparently JD has made one available for this model only in the last month or so.

That seems like a fair price, comparable to the Kubota with similar equipment, but the BH seems a little on the small side, no specifics other than that it has a 5' digging depth and 9" bucket.

Has anyone seen or used one of these yet?

Thanks for your thoughts,

John

Haven't seen either of these yet, but where are you in Washington? Western side? Just going to make a quick recommendation for Barnett Implement (in Mt. Vernon, Snohomish, or Wenatchee). We got our 4310 plus implements via them, and they've been a great dealer -- slightly more expensive than other quotes we've gotten in W. Washington, but very easy to deal with and have addressed all our maintenance questions/parts orders.

Yep, western side, actually about 30 minutes SE of Snohomish in Duvall. The dealer I stopped at was in Redmond, because it was on the way home from work. I'll have to go by Barnetts in Snohomish and check them out too. Thanks!

Usually, those little hoes aren't good for much else than burying conduit and planting shrubs. Sure, you can pick away at rocks and stumps, but the tractor itself isn't really tough enough for hard use with a hoe. I guess the question you need to ask yourself is: "what am I going to do with it?" if you plan on stumping a lot or ripping out boulders, then you may be in for a dissapointment. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We're just about 30 minutes away from you in Bothell. Agrishop in Redmond is a finicky bunch. You might be able to deal them down, but I'm frankly not sure they know what they're talking about on many of the things they sell. Get ahold of Jerry Pittman in sales at Barnett's in Snohomish. He's a good guy, and will generally get within a couple of hundred of the cheapest price you can find elsewhere on the West side. They're a good outfiit.
