John Deere 4110 HST
I'm interested in purchasing several 3 PH impliments that I plan on using on my new JD 4110 HST with turf tires as follows
1) 4' box blade w/scarifiers
2) 5' rear scraper blade
3) 6' landscape rake (or should it be 5'?)
Are these the proper sizes for this size tractor? The tractor hasn't been delivered yet, but I wanted to get a headstart on pickup the impliments. These are all going to be used around the house and cutting trails through the woods. The tractor is coming with a 54" MMM, 410 loader and a 54" front blade. Any help would be appreciated.

Everything looks good size wise except the rake... go with a 5 footer.

The rear blades should be wide enough to cover your tire tracks. You might have to go with a bigger box blade, just don't take such a big bite when grading. I went with the 60" MMM, the cost was more but you get more mower, heavier deck etc and you can cut closer to trees etc.

Gary,

Except for one small detail... don't forget about using the angle feature on the blade. Using a 84" or a 72" on a 4110 is a little overkill, but a 60" is just right... that's what I got and it has worked like a charm. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Mike are you sure about the 54" MMM. i was told by multiple deat the 60alers that the 54" was not suppossed to be going on the 4x1x series and that the 60" was standard.

According to John Deere Marketing Information Bulletin #Commercial-02-8 dated December 14, 2001 the 54" MMM is compatable with the 4010 & 4110. The 54" MMM is not compatable with the 4115. The 60" MMM is compatable with with the 4010, 4110 & 4115. The 72" MMM is compatable on the 4115 only. The additional cost of the tractor and the deck combined turned me away from the 4115.

Mike, I thinl that what you're getting is sized just fine. I have 54" box blade, 5' rear grader blade, but no rake for my 4100. I think it would handle a 6' rake just fine.

Mike, that 60" MMM is also compatible with the 4100. Same MMM according to John Deere Tech support.

Mine is made by Landpride. I like it better than a 48", because it covers your rear wheels and overhangs by a little bit on each side. This overhang allows you to work closer to fences, ect... I've had no problem with my tractor handling it.
