I've learned here on TBN that my tractor has a third SCV spool already built into the joystick valve body that only needs linkage and plumbing, to be functional. It seems the kit may soon be discontinued, in fact one local JD dealer had difficulty finding it listed! It's LVBM-19694, or just BM-19694. That would give me rear ports, that I really didn't think I'd need right now. But, with my StumpGrinder (see BIY forum). On the SG-build, I'm using a Surplus Center two spool OC w/PB valve. (9-7695). That valve will be mounted to the SG frame, for better grinding view, and will become an intregal piece of the unit. If I buy the JD-3rd-SCV kit, can I just plug into the rear ports, and power the SG valves, for raise/lower, swing of grinder head? I realize that I'd have to lock/bungie the 3rd SCV valve handle in forward position, to have hydro flow, but it seems like a neat, clean way to power up the SG hydros. It also gives me a reason to buy the kit, that will ultimately become my TNT hydro source!
. Flow rate may be reduced, but I want a slow rate at the Grinder head anyway, and wouldn't be swinging and lifting at the same time anyway! Am I making sense? What say the 'pros'!!! Thanks in advance! ~Scotty
