JD 4300 HST 3 Point not working

I was searching the web and came across this site and just joined. I have a 4300 HST that the 3 point just quit working. There was no indication of any problem, it just quit. I took the implement off and tried raising the empty 3 point arms. I had to throttle up a little bit (maybe 1400 RPM) to get them to raise, but they did come up all of the way. If I stand on the arms, it quits raising. There are no other hydraulic issues, loader and transmission are fine. Any ideas?

Does your 4300 have a backhoe, or rather to you have the hydraulic hookup for a backhoe on your machine? If you do, I suspect the "loop" connection for the PB (power beyond) has come unplugged just a little. Unplug it all the way, clean up the QD's (quick disconnects) and plug it back in. This is not a uncommon problem.

Are you sure that your rockshaft flow control/rate if drop valve is not closed? Knob should be near the seat base on right side.
