As the title says guys I am working on a JD 4300 tractor. The problem I have is that it engages fine but disengaged really hard, and I mean really hard. It keeps breaking the roll pins. I changed the springs inside the pto brake and clutch, shift collar and spring, and a cracked hub on the brake end. I cant seem to figure this little thing out. I usually figure these things out but this has already taken to much of my shops time. I need to get it fixed. Any and every bit of information or experiences you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks

When you disengage, are you at low RPM (1200 or thereabouts)?
PTOs should never be engaged or disengaged at high RPM (to me, that's anything above 1500 RPM).

At low rpms and right now I have it taken apart and it still is hard to shift it.
