JD 4300 seat

I had pretty much the same issue with the seat on my 4300. The yellow foam separated from the black base. After a little research decided to purchase a grey one on ebay. They is one there now listed as item no. 150370231298 it is 140 bucks shipping included. I have had it for a year or so and still looks like new. They also have some on ebay yellow, not sure of the quality for 76 bucks and 14 shipping item no. 180471489853

Thanks for the info, I'll go check it out.

Just got back from a week-long business trip to discover a front tire got ruined in my absence, so I guess that just became my number one priority, though. They were in pretty bad shape from the previous owner staying in FWD full time, so I'll probably drop on two while I am at it. The rears will have to do for awhile!

My seat is separated too. Mine lives outside so I will not be replacing it. I just tilt the seat onto the steering wheel so its always dry when I go to sit on it. Otherwise I really couldn't care less what it looks like.
