I had a gear drive 4200 and I upgraded to a 4300 that I bought because it had a set of rear remotes. It came with a 60" belly mower that was plumbed into the rear remotes with hard lines. I didn't need it at that time and I have a 6' finish mower and ZTR so I took it off and never used it since. I recently have a need for it and am trying to figure out if there is a way to reinstall it on the tractor and still be able to utilize the remotes. I have a hydraulic top link that I would like to leave on the tractor.

I'm not sure I understand all the acronyms and terminology for the options I need/have/want so please correct my foolishness if I say something wrong in describing how the tractor is currently equipped.

The tractor does have a 420 loader and the factory installed loader remotes (DSCV?) It has one set of rear remotes that are controlled by a single cable lever on the right (passenger side) fender. I'm unsure if this is the power beyond kit or the extra rear SCV.

Does every tractor with a MMM have remotes? Is there a way to use the MMM without the hydraulics? If no do I need to install additional rear remotes to be able to hook the MMM and top link up at the same time? Is there a way to do so without the hard lines that would make that remotes accessible when the mower deck was removed?

I would also like to explore the option of adding a front remote for a grapple bucket and maybe even the tilt feature in the future so please keep that in mind with any advice.

Thanks,
Grove

This is a set of remotes which are closed center so you can hook up the top link no problem. The difference between a power beyond and a set of remotes is the power beyond is open center meaning oil is flowing at all times. You would use this for a back hoe or something with its own control valve.

The OEM loader valve has 3 spools as you say. The Power Beyond connection is the large steel line that
goes over to the 3-pt valve on the left side. Remove this line and add additional valve(s) (OC with PB) between
these 2 ports. I just use off-the-shelf adapters, hoses, and QDs. The adapters use a metric thread, but
no need to get Uncle JD involved. You can see them in the top of this photo.

I split the flow to the rear remote into two different rear remote outlets on my 4410 with a manual splitter that I had laying around. One set of remotes is still in the factory location to be used with rear implements and the other set of remotes are hooked up to my hydraulic top link. I hooked up all the lines with hydraulic hoses that I had made up at the local NAPA.
