JD 4310 and Trygg studded tir chains

Hi,

I have a 4310 with Titan Trac Loader industrial tires 15x19,5and would like to get the Trygg studded tire chains. The rep said I need 3 inch clearance between the tire and fender. I measured both sides and the right side might give me 1/2inch to 1 inch clearance ( that's measured from the wheel rim to the fender).
My wheels currently have the valve stems on the inside of the tire. Is that position the narrowest clearance?
If so, how much space would I gain if I flipped the tires?
The JD dealer recommend wheel spacers, but he doesn't have any in stock? He doesn't think JD makes them
anymore. Can any one direct me to someone that might have the spacers?

On my JD 4300, I made my ladder tire chains that fit in the hollows of the Industrial tread by using shorter cross links and longer side chains. Works very well to avoid problems with the narrow clearance. All the commercial chains come down a ways on the sidewalls and leaves too little room between the fender and the tire.

In addition, primarily to gain stability (less pucker factor) on side slopes, I added 2-1/2" spacers to both rear wheels.
These were obtained through Motorsport Technology Racing Division (per suggestions and posts here on TBN). That was 9 years ago and the cost for both adapters $275.
They work very well and have been no problem since adding them.

Can you measure from the rim "bead" to the center mounting surface? If you have a bigger number on the inside than the outside, swap them side to side for more clearance. 3" might be suggested, but you may get away with half of that. Both the fender and the wheel are "fixed" and that distance will not change during operations, but the issue is possibly having a stick or something lodge itself between the tire and the chains and get carried around and damage something.
