JD 4310 Hyd fill hole size?

Hi,
I just mounted a used Shaver HD 8 post driver on my tractor. It's on the three point hitch. I want to put a short pipe extension on it to connect the return pipe. Went to the hardware store today. No go. I think it may be metric. Hoping someone may know what size the hydraulic fill hole size is.

Yeah it's almost certainly metric, Paul, since everything else on the
3-pt cyl housing is metric. And at least 25mm in diameter, so finding
somthing with that thread will be hard. I don't know off hand what
the thread size is.

Instead, you can use one of the hydraulic return ports on the right
side of the housing, next to the toplink support. They use a common
metric O-ring fitting.....I use a 90-degee fitting to clear the 3-pt arm.
You can see it in this photo.

Oh yeah, one more thing: the fill cap is vented, so you do not
want to block it.

I stopped at the John Deere heavy equipment dealer behind where I work and showed it to them. They did'nt have anything that would fit but they did measure it for me. 33MM with a .02 pitch. At least now I know what to look for. I will check out that port you sent the picture of.
