Got the oil and filter to do the first service on my 5 month old JD 4320 w/o cab. I was surprised to find the oil filter on my tractor from the factory is RE518977 because the Owner's Manual specifies filter RE19626 (one I purchased at the dealer) for tractor w/o cab.
For a cab tractor the manual calls for RE518977 which is what came on my tractor.
Has anyone run into this before? If so, please help me understand what is going on. Thanks.
PS: With the price of gas, this is going to be a really expensive filter if I have to make another 70 miles round trip to the JD dealer to exchange it.
