JD 4410 Drive Freezes at Random...any ideas?

Hi Guys, I'm new here and looking for any ideas or help you might have with my issue. I just purchased an older JD 4410 to replace my JD850. I love the upgrade! However there is an issue with my new 4410, at random it will freeze up (forward and reverse will not engage) and it happens at complete random, the tractor dosen't have to be jolted or me bounce off the seat. If I turn the tractor off it will re-set and be fine for a while again. But I almost burnt the tractor up when it happened while putting a load of brush on the fire... On average it will do this maybe 3 times per hour of run time.

My guess is there is something wrong with the pressure switch on the bottom of the seat? It has two wires going into the plug, it all looks fine but could the sensor be shot? Or a wiring issue someplace else?

Any other ideas or experience with this?

if you hit or bump both the forward and rev pedals at the same time you will make it do that.

If you have have the HST and big feet like me, it will happen if you press both pedals at the same time. But I've never had to restart mine, just wait 5 seconds or so and it clears on its own.

Have you replaced the hyd filter? No direct experience, but I've heard talk about it happening with a clogged filter. It's a pretty cheap place to start, if you haven't.
