A few days ago my son filled up the fuel tank quite full with diesel. After returning from some bumpy back-blading, he noticed that the needle on the fuel gauge had somehow jumped to the wrong side of the stop pin so it no longer registers. I've tried using a strong magnet to move it into the right position, but no luck. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Wow, he really "pegged" that sucker! First time in a long time I have heard a proper use for "pegged" even if it's on the wrong side.
