I do plan to perform all of my own maintenance. I planned to change all of the hydraulic fluid when I add the rear PTO very soon. The engine maintenance will be performed next weekend.

Nice to know that transaxle is used by more than just JD.

Don't know where you live in Va, but I have a Catagory 0 (3point hitch) carry-all I built for my 425 and a cat0 rear weight bracket (for the 42lb weights). You can have them both if you want to come get them. The carry-all is very handy. I used it all of the time.

I think I still have a set of rear tire chains you can have (if I can find them).

I'm about 75 miles southwest of Roanoke right on I81.
