I'm looking at buying a backhoe for my 5055E tractor with its Power Beyond capability. Spec sheets have the 485 backhoe at about 1400 lbs and the 48 at about 700 lbs...can't figure that one out!
I'm surprised that the 485 can be handled by small and larger tractors (quite a range in compatibility).
Anybody able to say whether the 485 is a reliable piece of equip and whether it would work well with the 5055e?
Also, any advice on bucket sizes would help....they come 12, 18, 24 and 36 inch.
I think my biggest concern is whether it mounts the tractor with a strong, secure system.
The power beyond kit for this tractor is about $2,000! :confused2:
