Having some type of transmission problem with my backhoe. Starting out in 1st or 2nd gear, there is hardly any power. If I'm on flat ground it will go. But if I'm trying to push (like getting a big scoop full from a dirt pile) or start uphill, it won't go. All hydraulic functions seem to work otherwise - plenty of power to dig or lift real heavy stuff with front bucket. Gears higher than 2 seem to be normal - If I get a start & get into 3rd or 4th gear, it will pull a hill just fine.
It does seem to have a little more oomph in reverse. I can drop the bucket and grade dragging the bucket in reverse. But it won't start from a stop on an incline in reverse either.
I recently switched from generic 303 hyd fluid to a mix of the Tractor Supply Renew and Universal - they didn't have enough of either so I bought both & mixed. Don't know if that would cause issues, but it wasn't long after that this started.
Any ideas? I don't want to spend $400 moving to/from a shop if there are little things I can diagnose/fix where it is.
