Jd 506 brush hog vs jd 513 brush hog

Anyone on here know the differences between these two? 506 vs 513
Which one is more heavy duty?
Is either one any good?
I know their old, but I like older equipment, seems to be built better, most of the time.

I don't know on the 506 but I believe it is a heavier unit. The 513 has a gearbox rated at 45hp, if age is an indication of duty level the 506 built from 78-88, the 513 built from 95-02.

Thank You for responding. My research tells me that the 506 indeed was a heavier duty unit. I found one, but the guys not really giving it away either. It's in fantastic shape. 35+ years old and still has the original decals on the sides. I'm not sure what to do. It appears these where so tough they don't break, but if it does, parts may be tough to come by.
Any thoughts out there on using good old days machines?
This one is priced at 700.00 which is probably more than it cost new in the 70's.
