jd 5065e or kubota m7040suhd please help decide

Hey fellow members I need help deciding for the money I have to spend I can go with jd 5065e standrd 9 forward 3 reverse u have to clutch to go between foward and reverse has 53 pto hp or found kubota m7040suhd with 8 foward 8 reverse also has hydraulic shuttle which is nice and I believe is 63 pto I would like to know what weight differences are and lift capabilities from rear as well as with the loader as I will be getting loader either way I decide also would like to here the goods and bads about both please help me decide thanks in advance

Went to the links if u go to attachments and look at loader specs between the two the max lift at pin Is very comparable beteen the two but not sure what breakout force is but one shows force at pin and one shows force at bucket not sure what the difference is but there is big difference in the weight between the two unlike the full height weight at pin.
Please help me understand this basically I need two know if loader specs are comparable I would go with the 553 loader if ichoose deere thanks

i just bought a 7040SU rops4x4 with 1153 loader.if i remember right the break away force on the pins is like 2760lbs.an rear 3pt lift weight is like 3700lbs.but in all honesty the 7040 compares to the jd5075 tractor.

I think I'm going to go with green that's what I wanted to start with but did not want to be totally closed minded . Stopped off at local dealer today and got some pretty fair numbers from the research I've done on these tractors. And now just wish santa would bring my christmas bonus so I can sign the papers can't wait to get her home and try her out thanks for all the advice. John deere 5065e with 553 fel, loaded tires , brushgaurd, and deliverd to my door step 31500 found same tractor 1000 cheaper but farther away and un familiar with staff at that location maybe these numbers will help someone else in the market for this line of tractor.

I have been interested for two years now I posted thread back in august that was similar to this one.

I've laid in bed countless hours reading and learning from others but from day one liked the john deere but now that I am getting closer to purchasing I just wanted to see if someone could change my mind but bottom line I guess is I would not b happier with anything less than what I wanted. I'm sure the kubota and several others are good tractors also but could not find a good enough reason to not get what I like. I know looks like quick decision but has been a long journey to me I'm just glad I can quit thinking about it now and think about what task I'm going to tackle first would still love to hear from fellow members that have this tractor that would share there likes or dislikes about it thanks
