JD 5100e
3yr old off lease at 400hrs. I've put about 800 on it myself.
When I purchased it, everything worked just fine. At some point about 5-6mo ago, I noticed the vehicle speed indicator was no longer functioning. It is based on a "Roll Mode Sequence Order" switch, with PTO and hours in the loop. Both of which work normally, so it isn't the dash. There are no codes showing. I have no other idiot lights. I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is that I somehow lost/broke/dislodged the peripheral sensor so there is no reading. It shows, 0.0 mph at all times.
I've been trying to figure out where the peripheral sensor is located in order to see whether I have inadvertently dislodged it somehow. Otherwise, I am at a loss. I do not see a fuse specifically for MPH. I haven't contacted JD as of yet, because it has not been important. But with me looking to spray, I recognize it IS important for spraying, hence I need to quite ignoring the issue and get it fixed.
Any help would be appreciated.
