Price Check JD 5400 price?

I will be looking at a 1997 JD 5400 very soon. It's a 70hp 4WD with a cab, self-leveling loader and about 2000 hours. Also, I have been told the tires are in great condition and all the tires are fully weighted. It has had one owner and he has all the service records. Not exactly sure of the transmission arrangement except that it has the forward/reverser on the dash. What would be a good price range for this tractor? He's asking about $21,500 for it. Any help on this would be appreciated.

That price for a mfwd with sl loader and cab is probably not too far out of line I had a 1999 model 5410 and 540 loader in 2wd and open rops that I gave that for with 1580 hrs on it so considering that you have a cab and 4wd plus it sounds like the tractor has a power/reverser, it's about the going rate for such a machine of that horsepower range in my opinion.Just make sure you run the tractor before you commit to anything and also check out my post and the responses on the ag tractor section of this site under jd 5020 series.
