i operate a jd5410 cutting roughs on a golf course,20 hrs a week.unit has 3000 hrs,turf tires,4wd,no fel.i pull an 11 ft bush hog turf mower-3 decks
counter rotating spindles.in sustained use the surface temp of the hydraulic
pump has reached 250 degrees.the rear axle upwards of 265 today.i max 2100rpm under load.fluid changed yearly screen cleaned same time.hyd cooler is free of debris.im losing power as heat builds.engine temps are now climbing
as hyd fluids temps soar.any one have a starting point.

a good starting place would be to check your relief valves. If one is stuck open it will cause your oil to heat up. if you continue running with your oil that hot, it will begin to cause excessive pump wear which is quite a costly repair.
