Old thread...lol I had that issue with both my Kubota M9's until I changed from SUDT to Chevron All Weather THC Synthetic but more importantly, I warm them up at fast idle while I go in and have coffee and when I come out and they are warm, everything is then peachy.

Check to be certain there isn’t a suction side strainer that might be obstructed. And I like the idea of carefully inspecting the suction hose, or just replacing it. I had a similar issue and at some point a stick had punctured the suction hose. No leakage, but air was getting sucked in

I suggest to check/clean hyd oil suction screen.
