Hi everyone,

I have a fairly new 6125R with FEL and for some reason I can get the bucket to move (moving the lever side to side) but I can't get the actual loader to lift or go down. It's just stuck on the ground. It isn't low on fluid and hasn't had this issue before; it just stopped working the other day.

Does anyone heard of the hydraulics working halfway? I don't think I have air in the system but I might loosen the hoses to see if it needs to be bled.

Any help would be great.

Check your quick disconnects, unhook them and reconnect them and make sure your lever is not stuck in float mode. If you can pull lever back all the way it's probably a connection , hope this helps

Are these loaders running a cable joystick? Could be the grubscrew that holds the cable in place has backed out, and let the cable go? Has happened to me, this week!

I agree with the other posters to check the quick connects first. But it may have been an inadvertent menu change if you have the electronic joystick controls. If the quick connects don't fix your problem it is time to break out the manual and go to the settings menu for the joystick control.

Assuming you've used the loader before & it worked or you have someone else running the tractor, you might also check the disconnects to make sure they're color matched or if it's the auto coupler to make sure it is connected properly, just a few things I have seen.

Thanks for all the replies

I didn't clarify this before, it's my dad's tractor and he's very old school - doesn't know how to text, work a microwave, use the internet, etc... and so he buys a tractor with a computer screen. :p

I checked on it over the weekend and moved the joystick around and put it in and out of float before I started it. When I started it up, it worked just fine. However, I noticed that it was low on hydraulic fluid. I ended up putting almost two gallons in it by the time I finished. I'm thinking it was probably the low hydraulic fluid or the fact that we've had sub-zero temperatures over the past few weeks and when I checked it over the weekend, it was significantly warmer. The quick disconnects seemed fine, however we never take the loader off.

I'll let you guys know if we have any more issues with it.
