Having problems with the gear shift on my Europe edition 6310. It has the Powerquad plus 24/24 transmission.
When downshifting through the powershift speeds it will either indicate on the dash display that it has changed into first when it is actually still in second, or just go into error mode (dash gear indicator panel blanked out, information light and transmission lights flashing, no further gear changes possible) when attempting to change down to first. If the tractor is turned off and restarted it will shift into first and operate normally until trying to downshift to first again.
There are no bad noises from the transmission so I'm guessing electrical or control module problems rather than mechanical.
I found an oil leak from pressure switch RE212880 that had made a mess around the solenoids under the transmission. I replaced the sender, cleaned and tested the solenoid coils without solving the problem.
Any ideas welcomed as to a wiring problem, $530 stepper motor driver AL113005 or $620 stepper motor AL112507. (US prices so about 3X that in Australia)
Does anybody know if the stepper motor is serviceable? Would hate to throw it out if it only needed a squirt of oil.
All ideas for a likely fix appreciated.
