JD 647 Rotary Tiller Assembly

I purchased a JD 647 Tiller several months ago for my JD 2305, however, it has been stored in my barn without use. Now, I'd like to plan for my fall garden tilling and use it. I looked the machine over very carefully this weekend and noted that the left and right brackets for the Mast (3ph) were installed in the upper row of 4 holes versus the lower row of 4 holes as recommended in the owners manual (see page 20 - Install Mast).

Question for 647 model users ..... How do you have your brackets set??? Does it make any difference with the 2305 tractor??
