JD 650 Buhler 95 or 195 Loader

I am interested in installing a Buhler 95 or 195 Front end loader on my JD 650 4wd utility tractor. I am looking for information on loaders that people have installed on JD 650's. I don't have power steering and am wondering if installing a loader will make steering too difficult to enjoy using the tractor loader. If you have a 650 with a loader please let me know of any issues I should be concerned about. Thanks....

We had a JD loader on our 650, so I can't answer any of those questions. If you have never used a loader with power steering, then you will not know what you are missing. It worked okay for me, but now that I have power steering and hydro I would not enjoy using the 650 at all. JC

How does your 2520 size up against the JD 650. Do you miss anything about the 650? I wish the 2520 was a little wider in stance. Do you notice the difference?

I think the 650 was about the same weight as my 2520, not counting the wheel weights that were added. I like the folding rops and the 2520 is easier to get on. The 650 had the loader controls on the mast of the loader, where the 2520 has the easy to reach joystick. Also the new loader comes off in 5 minutes, where it took half a day to remove the 67 loader on the 650.
We never used the 650 to mow the yard even though it had a RFM. I mow some pretty steep ditches with my 2520 and it handles them well. JC
