JD 755 hydraulic hose for power steering (JD 655/755/855)

Hi guys - I just bought a used JD 755 and I noticed that the power steering hoses should be replaced. Looking at the part diagram online, instead of buying the parts from JD I was hoping to buy the hose and fittings, so it would be cheaper and so I can replace others in the future. Can someone help me make sure that I have my numbers right? I'm a first time tractor owner and never worked on them - so I have a lot to learn.

The hose is: M91486 Hydraulic Hose
I cannot find the size anywhere online. Does anyone know the size of it? Is it 1/4" ?

I'd like to get this hose: R2 Two-Wire Hydraulic Hose - SAE 100R2 AT
R2-04 R2-04 | 1/4" SAE 100R2AT Hydraulic Hose (by the foot)

And pair it with reusable fitting
SAE 100R2AT Reusable Hose Fittings - SAE 37ｰ (JIC) Female Swivel
Will the 1/4 female fit on the elbow fitting in the diagram: "12 38H1003 Elbow Fitting"

Short of taking off the power-steering hose, I can't find the measurements. I will purchase the Owner Manual soon, hopefully that has more info.

I keep reading that you have to relieve the pressure when you're working on hydraulics. Does this apply to the power steering as well? If so, any hints on how to relieve the pressure?

To relieve pressure(if there is any) just move steering wheel back and forth with engine not running. Here's the spec's listed on JD's website for that hose
