Thanks guys for your help. Got it going today. I checked all the circuits on the fuel solenoid and all checked out ok. I removed the pin from the linkage and turned over the engine while moving the lever. It started right up. The only problem was the linkage was out of adjustment. I tightened it and backed it off two turns to allow some free play. Very touchy adjustment . Runs like a champ. Dealer told me it need a fuel pump rebuild for around $1500. It is starting out to be a good year!!! Dave

Gives you a good feeling to have cheated the dealer out of $1500 I would think.
Spend the savings wisely:thumbsup:

IIRC, wasn't the dealer first telling you that the TDC module needed to be replaced? Then he moved on to say that the fuel pump need to be rebuilt (at $1500, I'm assuming they were wanting to rebuild the injection pump)? If it were me... I'd find a different dealer. Sounds to me like their service dept. couldn't find their *** with both hands.

By starting this new thread, you left the old thread in the Deere Owning and Operating forum hanging without the solution to your problem. Good to keep a thread going until closure. ;)
Glad you are up and running.
