Oil & Fuel JD 770 3 cylinder diesel question

I can not figure out what the yellow oil cap is for on the right side(oil filter side) of the engine is for. There is an oil fill cap on the top of the engine and this yellow one on the side. The owners manual does not explain this. Is it just another oil fill cap? Please help,thanks

They both go to the oil pan its just a 2nd one. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

These Yanmar engines are used in applications other then tractors, possibly including marine use. Although we have access to the top of the engine in our tractors, that's not always the case in those other applications, hence the other filler cap.
