my jd 790 fel will raise the bucket on idle, but if rev the engine the loader stops. I connected the loader to another 790 & it works fine. I put a new seal kit in the scv no help. Can anybody tell me what is wrong.

Sounds like your pump is plugging with debris. At idle the crap stays down but rev it up and it sucks the junk up. Change the fluid, filter and clean the screen. Or a hose could be collapsing.

Thanks , I have changed the filter. Where is the screen? The bucket tilt works fine when reved up. Wouldn't it effect that if the pump was plugging ?

I would check the quick connects. Disconnect and reconnect the quick connects and see if that helps. It may be grasping but if the connectors are not seated completely when you rev up the engine and bump up the pressure a little the connector separates a little and shuts off the flow. If that doesn't help I would switch the bucket tilt and boom lifts connections and see if the problem follows the hose connections or stays the same.

Thanks , I connected & disconnected the lines several times. I will try changing the boom & tilt lines in the morning. I'll let you know. Thanks

Here is a pic of the transmission screen that should be cleaned when changing tranny oil and filter. Part # 7

I got it working. the problem was one of the connectors. I switched te hoses around & the problem changed from boom to bucket. Then i removed the connectors from the tractor & switched them. That moved the problem. I replaced the connector with one from a friends tractor. Everything works !!!
Thanks
