My rear flashing hazard lights have not been working since last winter. I don't like to clean up snow at the end of my driveway without these lights on. Not that anyone is going to slow down when they see me out there, but I at least want them to see me when it's dark out.
I thought I would put this information out there for anyone that needs to replace their flasher module on their 790.
After troubleshooting the electrical system, I narrowed the problem down to the flasher module.
I priced this item from John Deere and it was $78. I couldn't believe that so I checked with a local auto parts store, and they had a generic flasher for $2.65. It works perfect.
