JD 850 Newbie

Thanks for the warm welcome! We are farm kids who have been living in town our adult lives and now that we have young kids are moving back to a small acreage. We managed to get the former owner's John Deere 850 diesel and attachments as part of the deal, and I'm hunting for manuals. The prices I'm seeing online seem a little steep. Nope, they're pricey. Probably less than $30 for the ITE Shop Manual, about the same for the JD owners manual off e-bay, and $150 for the JD Technical Manual.

All three of them are worth every penny

You have found out what we all know who have shopped for WSM and other manuals. Be very wary of any price that seems to good to be true, because it is most likely a ripoff.

As I recently explained to someone else as the reason why I haven't got a true WSM yet is because no one wants to buy my bad kidney. :laughing:
