Oil & Fuel JD 855 Oil Leak

I have a 1998 John Deere 855. It is leaking hydraulic oil profusely from somewhere on the transmission. I am a big guy and I currently have the backhoe on my tractor which is why I am making this post. I would prefer to not have to take the backhoe off until I'm done using it or until I know where the oil is coming from. Please let me know if you have the same problem. The leak started back in August and is getting progressively worse. It is to the point where I have to add about 1 gallon of oil every two weeks.

Can you get us a bit closer to where the oil leak is "on" the transmission? Pics of it would help.

Yeah, we sure can't get under it from here and look for you. My first guess would be the filter. Perhaps it's loose or you high centered and split it. Who changed the filter last time?

The tractor is not currently at my house. The oil seems to be coming from the center of the tractor almost directly under the seat.
