JD 950 clutch--single or dual

Good afternoon all!
I have a JD 950 and need to replace the clutch (wasn't running when I got it and doesn't yet...). Serial #CH0950-SO-18873, and according to Tractordata.com it's from 1983. I've seen on this forum somewhere that they used a dual stage clutch beginning in 1984. Can anyone confirm this tractor is just a single stage? Bell-housing looks too shallow to be dual I think. Let me know what y'all think.

1983 Model Year (Serial No. 018204 – 020006)

according to the Deere parts book, all 950's below serial number 20,000
were single clutches
