JD 950 No power

Hi, I have a JD 950 about 1700 hours on it. It seems that the tractor isn't putting out any power. My JD 650 can out perform it. I put a 4ft bushhog on it and it wont ever reach 2000 RPMS in a low gear. Changed fuel filter, oil, and air filter. Even after all that it still has no power. Any ideas?

My JD 870 has a pickup in the tank, a water separator and fuel filter. All are areas to get clogged up with crud. Clogged anywhere reduces power significantly.

There's no bird or mouse nest in the air intake hose going to the air cleaner?

Make sure that there is adequate fuel flow from the tank to the filter and from the filter to the pump.Check the strainer on the fuel tank outlet. You most likely have somthing restricting ful flow. Might also check the return line fom the pump to the tank.
