Put enough duct tape on the glass to hold it together while you take the glass out and take the windows to a glass shop and have them cut you new ones. If you don't want the hassle of dealing with the windows just take the whole tractor to the glass shop.

Sounds like a good deal on the tractor. How many hours?

Just looked at your pictures again. The glass is easy to take out. On the outside of the cab the rubber has a line in the middle. Carefully insert a screwdriver or similar tool into the line and pull one side of the rubber over the other. Do this all the way around the window. Some dishwashing detergent or WD-40 as a lubricant helps. Installation is the reverse of removal. An extra helper is good or just take it slow and easy when you put the window back in

I second having a local glass shop supply the windows. No shipping if nothing else, but probably cheaper even if custom cut.

If you decide to not attempt pulling the glass out yourself, it looks like you can lift the door off and probably remove the back window frame and take them to a glass shop rather than taking the whole tractor. You're going to want laminated glass and I expect that's what you have now since it isn't in tiny pieces.

Actually, I'd pull the door and rear window even if you do decide to replace it yourself since it's going to be a whole lot easier on the bench versus on the tractor.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I have a auto glass shop just down my road and will attempt to remove the door and bring it to them.

great community of help here!

One of the fixes is the hour/tach meter which is stuck on 220, I will have to check to see if its the cable as I have seen a thick black cable dangling and a few other cut wires. The tractor starts up nice and doesnt blow any smoke (white or black)
I am missing the yellow rubber grip for the PTO lever and the shifter ball for the drive trans engage (order one on eBay)
Missing the sicker/labels for the 2wd/4wd and park brake/cruise etc.
I have to change some of the pins for the 70a loader as it looks like somebody used a #6 pin in #11b hole.
Yesterday when I was learning all the levers I did have down pressure once to lift the front wheel 6" off the ground. I wasn't able to do it a second time.
There are a few leaks and will have to locate all the dip sticks.
There is one yellow oil fill cap oposite side of the alterator. is it power steering pump and if so what fluid and the what level?

Good find. I'd suggest with the type of questions you have that a service (tech) manual would be a good investment for you to work with your tractor.
Also, jdparts.com will give you considerable information about where and what things are that you are finding as well as part numbers for everything on your tractor.

and
:welcome: to TBN

That may be engine oil fill as the power steering doesn't have a separate pump IIRC. Know what it is before adding any kind of oil. ;)

If the yellow cap is located just below the letter A in this pic, then it is for adding engine oil when low or when changing. About the same level on the engine as the alternator on the opposite (left) side. And yes, there is also another one located above the valve cover.

Hello All,

Just wanted to let everyone know the cab model is a Laurin-Inc Cab or Laurin Machine Inc. out of Alexandria, ON, Canada.
I have also replaced the brogen glass window out of the door with a piece of 1/4" plexiglass and it looks great!
The rear window is next after the frame which had rotted 1/8" sheet metal on the 3rd lower portion is being replaced.
I still have lots to repair and or replace but enjoy working on this tractor very much.
Cheers,

John

I believe they made some factory option cabs for Deere at one point. Maybe only for Canada.
