JD 955 front blade

I have a JD955 tractor including a 59" snowblower. I recently purchased a used JD front blade, 380. Unfortunately I don't have the manual for blade, yet. Does anyone out there have a 380 attached to their 55 series tractor? I'd like to know whether the frame for the snowblower and the extensive frame for the front blade are in the least compatible (I'm doubtful). Also like to know whether the blade has much more utility than a rear blade (it does angle and of course lift). Guess a rear blade would be much more useful as complement to the snowblower.
