Oil & Fuel JD 990 50 hr Oil Change

I am getting close to the 50 hr oil change. I was told to change out the break in oil at 50 hrs. I am considering putting in the AMSOIL synthetic 15-40 oil. Is this a good idea?

Not a problem and it's a good choice of oil. It should serve you well.
