JD 4310
I have had my tractor for about a year and now that I have gotten good at getting in close to tree branches and other obsticles that beat me to pieces I was wondering if JD has an accessory list or catalog for my tractor(4310). I know they have an armor kit but I would like something to protect the turn signals among other things. I would like to know about all the neat gadgets and extras they offer. I haven't been impressed with the local dealer and I don't think he would even know if JD even had such a catalog. The next closest one is a hour away so I have to take off work to deal with them.

I relocated my turn signals and flashers to inside the ROPS. It's easily done. All you have to do is label the wires and swap the lights to opposite sides.

After paying nearly $60 to replace one, I decided something had to be done. The parts lady at JD suggested it.

Not as good as a catalog but if you go to johndeere.com, and build your tractor you can select 'accessories' and see what's available, prices (usually) and part #'s. You can also price attachments. Sounds like you might want the brush guards. I got the part #'s for them and the forward light kit there then went to my deal and got them.

I have a 2305 but I'm sure they offer the same sort of light guard for your tractor.

Moving the light boxes inside the ROPS is a clever trick, as long as you don't have a backhoe. On my 4410 I was going to do this, but after mounting my rear work light, and banging my elbow on it, I decided it would make the fit just too tight.

Ralph,
I never thought of doing that but I will. I think I will also still make a guard to go around them just in case. I will probably make it out of 3inch flat bar and bend it around the lights and use the mounting holes to mount it.

Orlo,
Thanks for the input. I went to check out the johndeere site and since they no longer make most of the 4010 series tractors you can no longer look up accessories for them. I hope that this will not be a problem in getting things for this tractor especially since I have over a year left on my warranty. I'm sure it won't be a problem for most thing but to get accessories might be difficult.

I also relocated by turn signals and flashers inside the ROPS. My Dealer never mentioned it, but the first time i knocked one off, i figure there HAS to be something better. That was 3 years ago, and they are working out good!

For my JD6415; I searched JDparts and found the 6x20L Orchard tractors have a guard for the warning lights. I bought a pair and they bolted on to my ROPS without any modifications. Part key #2
