Cover art for the song ”Hey Gotta Make Hay” shows JD colors large and in action in late day sun. Photo used for the artwork was taken as Casey W. was putting a wrap on bales in the north field, Summer ’21.
Produced in a backroom studio at the farmhouse, the song is bluegrass about bluegrass. Give it a listen if you’re interested. We’re always happy to hear comments, either here or thru the CONTACT email addresses given on the musicians’ website www.stewardsongs.com
Understand this is not being sold - it’s free. Hay is the only thing we're raking in. Unlimited free plays of the complete song (and many others) are available on the HOME PAGE of the site. No obligation, you don’t need a password or have to ‘join the club’ (since we don’t have one).
You gotta go to the website address above, and click the button on the player with that title and this Hey Gotta Make Hay cover art. The song players are at the bottom of the home page.
There are other songs there, too with some sort of country treatment: ”Frackin' Fool”; ”Frackin' Hoedown”; and our bowling ball future classic country rocker ”Gone to Richard's”. Also, two ‘horse tunes’ with southwestern flavor: ”Gran Caballo”, (an instrumental) with a big twang nod to guitar guy Duane Eddy, and then the counterpart (with lyrics) ”Call Me Tornado”, spun from the old Disney Zorro show, sung from the point of view of the horse, who finally landed a speaking role. [Not “Oh, Wilbur!"]
