It was time for me to get an iMatch for my JD 3520 so I called the local JD daeler and they had what they call an Economy QH. They said it was just like the iMatch but it had an adjustable top hook so I bought it.

It fit anything I had that has a removable top pin except my Frontier RC 1060 and my KK II tiller which both have larger than Cat 1 spacers up top.

Just in my research on this site I noticed alot of QH's required bigger spacers on the two bottom posts of the implement.

Now I know why.

I just found out that an original iMatch for my tractor should be a Cat 2 while the one I have is strictly a Cat 1.

The QH I got is part # PMQH100. The Cat2 spacer on the RC1060 can't be removed, its flanged into the frame work.

Looks like I'm taking the QH back and getting something else.

Let me know if I'm correct in my findings.

PIcs would help?

Can't remember the diameter right now but the IMatch top hook on the cat 1 model uses bushings that are the same diameter as a cat 3 top pin. For most implements I use bushings over the standard 3/4" top pin but on some that I have built I welded in a piece of the cat 3 top pin.

Don't know about the economy QH but I use bushings and lower adaptors from TSC to match everything up.

Just read your other post and looked at the pics of your cutter. The large bushing on the existing 1060 is correctly sized for IMatch top hook. Might be better off to swap out for the green IMatch hitch imo.

Sorry no pics, card reader isn't working. If you need to see a pic of the QH Google PMQH100 but it's not a good pic to see the top hook.

I think you're right about swapping for an iMatch but I still like the idea of the adjustable top hook. On the other hand if the hook has to be adjusted something else does too so I don't know how much it really matters. I'm not a machinist/fabricator so I need it to fit right the first time.

Looked at Everthing Attachments Speeco QH. It looks sturdy and has the adjustable top hook but man its got some sloppy weld beads on the whole unit.

I've always heard great things about EA. I bought my KK II tiller and pallet forks from them and was well pleased. I can't imagine them selling junk but I quess it can happen.

Right now its either an original iMatch or a Speeco.

Thanks for your input.
